Inspected further and found wire harness to rear trailer harness pinched causing short, hitch has been damaged from an impact=removed section of wire harness that was pinched and checked for damage on wiring-none present. Advise to take to frame shop or body shop to have hitch repaired as it will need to cut off and replaced.
